Where in Syracuse do you service?

Enchanting Teepee Parties will travel up to 50 miles from zip code 13031.  The first 20 miles there is no additional fee.  Miles 21-35 there is an additional $20.00 fee.  Miles 36-50 will be an additional $30.00.

Do you have insurance?

Yes, Enchanting Teepee Parties has a limited liability insurance policy.

Can I book an outdoor teepee party?

Yes, however if there is any chance of bad weather (wind, rain, wet or muddy conditions), the event will be moved inside or rescheduled. The teepees are not weatherproofed or staked to the ground. This could be a hazard to guests or damage equipment. Please keep in mind if you live in an area with an abundant amount of mosquitos or other pesky bugs, the air mattress extends out of the teepee the teepee doesn’t close which increases the chances of mosquitoes and other annoying insects dampening the fun.

How much space is needed?

The dimension of the teepee’s are:  70.9 x 47.2 x 47.2 inches and the standard air mattress is 6’ in length. The best set-up for a tight space is to have the teepees face each other or a semi-circle.  We have found that a 16’ area works best, however we can always adjust the number of teepees used.  Or, weather permitting, set-up in a clean, dry area outside.

Do I have to supply anything?

The mattresses are 18” thick with a built-in pillow top.  If you’d like bed pillows, we ask that each guest bring their own for hygiene reasons.

Are the lights and lanterns safe?

Yes.  All lights and lanterns are battery operated and are completely safe and heat proof for children to operate.  We also provide extra batteries so no guest will miss out on the fun.

What age do you recommend for sleepovers?

Teepees are fun no matter what age you are and we cater to all age groups.  With that being said, each sleepover is different, as is each child. There are no hard and fast rules about age. For example, although some 5-year-olds might be ready to sleep away from home, some 10-year-olds might not be, so it’s important for parents to assess each event individually. We cater to any age, but from experience, the general teepee party ranges from 7-13 years old.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, a deposit will be required at the time of booking to hold your date.  Half is due when you book an event, the balance is due two days prior to the event.  Enchanting Teepee Parties requires five days cancellation notice for a full reimbursement.  Anything less than 5 days we keep $100 and refund the balance.

Is there a security deposit?

No, a security deposit is not required.  Let’s face it…. Life happens, nobody’s perfect and we understand that.  We take precautions in helping reduce the chance of accidents so we provide you the opportunity to inspect the teepees, bedding and decorations after set-up to ensure there are no damages and acknowledge the teepee’s meet safety standards.  Meaning, you acknowledge they were erected correctly and are stable.  As we tear down after the event, we will be inspecting the teepees and decorations to ensure they are in the same condition we set them up as.  If by a small chance a damage occurs during the event you will be responsible for reimbursing Enchanting Teepee Parties for the item(s) that were damaged. As a precaution, at the time of booking, we will ask for credit card information in the event that something may happen.

What is your cancellation policy?

Enchanting Teepee Parties requires 5 days cancellation notice. Any cancellations made less than 5 days we’ll keep $100 from the deposit and reimburse the balance as another event could have been booked. Changes to dates and request for additional teepees are permitted outside of this time, subject to availability.

How far in advance should I book my party?

Due to high volume of party bookings over Friday and Saturday nights, we recommend booking at least 3 months in advance to secure your date.  Avoid disappointment and get first pick on your theme.

What are the teepee and mattress dimensions?

Teepee: 70.9 x 47.2 x 47.2 inches

Mattress: 75 x 38 x 18 inches

Is there a charge for additional teepees?

Additional teepees are $50.00 per guest – per availability.

Are the teepee parties strictly for birthday parties?

No, teepees are meant to be fun, exciting and memorable.  But if you need a reasons…… Spring break, Mid-Winter break, want to jazz up your slumber party, Hooray school is done for the year, family night, night at grandma and grandpa’s….. need I go on?

Do I have to do anything for the picnics?

Yes, supply the food.  We create the atmosphere, and we don’t have a food license.  Suggestion:  Jazz up the picnic and tea party with the bohemian headbands. A beautiful addition to a festive picnic!

What is required of me?

For liability reasons, it will be your responsibility to move/rearrange any furniture to accommodate for the event.  In addition, to make sure that the Waiver of Liability is signed for ALL guests.

Do you offer a Pick-up or DIY option?

No, Enchanting Teepee Parties loves to give each party the complete, hassle free experience, and personal style touches.

How long will set-up and teardown take?

A party of 5 typically takes 45 minutes to an hour to set-up.  Larger parties can be up to 1.5 hours depending on ease of access and layout.  Teardown generally takes 30 minutes to 45 minutes.

Is this a COVID safe event?

Enchanting Teepee Parties does everything on their end to practice COVID protocol.  The bedding is washed, the teepees, air mattresses and accessories are sanitized with a high psi steam cleaner and/or Lysol ensuring the items are sanitary for use.  Teepee fabric is spot cleaned when required.  Although those vaccinated no longer have to wear a mask, we will while we set-up and teardown, so others feel comfortable and as a curtesy we will remove our shoes when we enter your home.
